5 Money Making Tips For Spiritual People

Holding wadded up dollars bills in hands All right, so you're a spiritual person and that's awesome. Yet, it takes money to function in today's society, which is a bit of a paradox. So many of us have been taught that money is evil, that money is not good, and it's better to give up your attachment to money. All of that is well and good. Yet, I desire to be a very spiritual person but I also want to participate in the world and initiate my spiritual principles in the process of thriving in an economic booming community. So, how do you do that?

I've had the opportunity to work with thousands and thousands of successful people and many of them are millionaires, and many of those millionaires are very spiritual. And what I noticed was, they were first committed to happiness, joy and peace, but, second, they were also committed to having a great life and living a great life on this earth and taking advantage of all the fun things that are here.

So, the millionaires that I know do five things differently than most spiritual people do.

The first step is to set an intention to have more money. The wealthy spiritual people I know understood if they wanted more money that they could have it. That they are the creator of their experience and if they are the creator of their experience, then why not create an experience that includes money, includes connection, includes gratitude, includes all the things that would make them feel fabulous, make them feel wonderful. So the first step is to set an intention to have more money.

The second step is to trust that you are blessed and that you deserve it. You see, the bottom line is, yes, you are spiritual, but you are spiritual if you are on this planet. Clearly, you are someone who is interested in having a great life and having lots of money otherwise you wouldn't be reading this article. So, you have got to recognize that you are blessed, that you deserve it, that if you can vision it, then clearly it can be yours.

Now where people get funky around money is that they attach to it and they make it mean something about themselves. They may believe well, if I don't have money then I'm a loser. Or, if I don't have money, then I must be no good. Well, we'll get to that. That is something that you want to release around your beliefs about money. But just know that you're blessed and that you deserve it.

The third step is to create a new frame of reference around the money. Take a moment now and write down four things about what money represents to you. First, money represents something to you. So what if you created this new meaning - that money represents a contribution that you make. That money stands for the difference that you make on the planet. Wouldn't that be an empowering frame of reference to the money that you receive? Could you see the money that you have as a measuring stick of the contribution that you make?

dollar bills growing out of ground Money is how people say thank you. Now imagine that is a much more empowering context for money, especially for us spiritual people. Many of us want to maintain the attitude and a state of no attachment, and we want to feel like we're making a difference. Well, what if we began to relate to money like it was a thank you?

Money is energy. Now, I just want you to think about this. What does money really represent? It's just a thought that we're all holding in mind and we're all keeping it because money represents this particular thing. But what is that? It's just energy. So what if you started to relate to it in that way?

Money is what you use to buy experiences. Now, it's just critical that you begin to look at money in a new way. Where did you learn that money was what it was? Remember that, as a spiritual person, it is important to re-examine your thinking. Stop for a moment and and re-examine your beliefs. Where did you learn them? Why can't you create a new meaning that works for you? Create a meaning that feels good to you.

The fourth step is to re-examine the idea that money is evil or money is bad. I want you to notice where your generalizations came from. Start to notice that you believe things about money because people in your life conditioned you to believe them. Perceptions are been created over time. Remember that you generalize. We all do. So, something happened around money and then you begin to connect the dots, right? You walk over, you pet a dog, the dog bites you. Next time you see a dog you think all dogs bite. Well guess what? All dogs don't bite. All money is not bad or evil. In fact, money is a powerful way of making positive and very important changes on this planet. And I'm sure that you are committed to having that occur.

The fifth step is to figure out what is important to you about money. What do you want? What is it that you think money is going to give you? Is it going to give you more joy? Is it going to give you the experiences that will make you happy? Is it going to give you experiences and quality of life that will make you feel whole and complete and satisfied? Do you think that when you have money you can experience, blah, blah, blah. Well, whatever that blah, blah, blah is, I request that you just have that now. You look and see where you are already experiencing all that you desire. Where do you already have that kind of experience? Honor it. Acknowledge it. Appreciate that you're having that now. And when you do, watch what happens, everything starts to work in your favor. You start to live in the mystical and magical place. That place where you just go ahhh, what an awesome life I have.

When you recognize that what you think money will give you is already present in your life now, you'll have less attachment to getting the money and more money will come to you naturally. Money won't buy you the experiences that you're looking for. The experiences that you're looking for are here now--gratitude, appreciation, acknowledgment. These are tools that the spiritual person utilizes to bring more money to themselves.
