Dr. Roger Teel is a global spiritual teacher and leader. His transforming messages, as well as in workshops, classes, business and national conferences, help to empower people and lead them to their limitless potential to live dynamically.
As a child, while gazing into the night sky, Roger experienced a profound and mystical awareness of the Oneness that is expressed within all of creation. That experience and knowing stayed with him throughout his life. When Teel was a teenager, his mother became involved with Religious Science. Roger strongly resonated with the uplfifting messages of personal empowerment, love and inclusiveness. These new thought principles helped guide him in his life and eventually led him into his calling as a minister.
Throughout his college days, Robert supported himself by playing banjo and singing at a local pizza parlor. He earned a degree in psychology and religion from the University of Denver. In recognition of his ministerial accomplishments, he was awarded a Doctor of Divinity and a Doctor of Religious Science degree.
He has served pulpits in Oregon, California and in 1993 returned to his home church, Mile Hi Church where he serves as Senior Minister and Spiritual Director. In addition to its outstanding ministerial staff, Mile Hi hosts a variety of renowned speakers, which include many of his friends and colleagues such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith, and Barbara Marx Hubbard. Dr. Roger’s Sunday messages are broadcast worldwide, shining a light of transformational power throughout the world.
Dr. Roger is a visionary and co-founder of the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT), an organization dedicated to “consciously bringing forth the evolving human and an awakened world through the practice of universal spiritual principles and the energy of unconditional love.”
As a global leader, Dr. Teel has served as Chairman of the International Board of Trustees for Centers for Spiritual Living, and is Co-founder of the Association for Global New Thought. In 1999, 2001 and 2004, Dr. Teel assisted in facilitating the Synthesis Dialogues with acclaimed global leaders including His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. He has served on the boards of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence, the Foundation for Affordable Housing, and the Community First Foundation.
